Beneath Our Feet
What we keep beneath our feet,
Is a precious resource sweet,
Without it, we’d have no food,
Our crops would wither, our gardens would droop.
But we’ve been taking it for granted,
Treating it like a mere ornament,
We’ve been polluting and degrading,
And now it’s time for us to start saving.
Let’s give the soil the care it needs,
And sow the seeds of healthy deeds,
Let’s reduce our waste and our pollution,
And give the soil a chance to heal and rejuvenation.
For the soil is the foundation of life,
And we must do all that we can to save it,
So let’s all join hands and do our part,
And work together to protect and preserve the soil, our heart.
